Dream Raggedy Dolls, and Nebraska Road Trip

Hi Doll Shop Friends!

It has been too long since our last letter to you, and we are excited to check-in and update you on what has been happening around the shop.

After an exciting VDC Summer Fling event, we started in right away on working on things around the shop. One of the MOST EXCITING happenings is that Rachel added a pair of dream-come-true Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls to the shop's permanent collection. The dolls are special oversized Vollands. Only 120 Anns and 120 Andys were produced. You can see Rachel's live unboxing of the dolls on YouTube.

We also took the cutest pictures outside of the doll shop. Rachel is one proud Mama!

Over last weekend, we had the opportunity to pick up a beautiful doll collection in Nebraska. It was about four hours from the doll shop, so Rachel and Derek were able to drive there in one day, pick up the dolls, stay at a darling B&B, and come home the next day. It was a whirlwind, but so much fun, too! Here are a couple of photos from the adventure.

Rachel found a super-cool dollhouse at a local estate sale for the doll shop. It is made by Eric Lansdown, and came with some beautifully made accessories. We called our local miniature expert and friend, Stan Gregg, to come set it up for us. Here are some photos, and we added a new video on YouTube showing the setup.

We also added some cute antique dollhouses to our doll shop website this week. It felt so good to get some things listed, and we plan to make this a priority every week to list some new arrivals to browse.

We hope you enjoyed our doll shop update this week. We are working hard to list more Patti PlayPal doll (plus companions) on our eBay account, and eagerly awaiting the shipment of Robert Tonner Grace dolls that should be arriving in the next two weeks. See you soon!
