Beautiful and charming French Bisque Automaton by Leopold Lambert. Beautiful closed mouth French bisque doll looks like a FG which is Francis Guiltier. She has sparkling Big blue glass set paperweight eyes,

No damage and no repair.

Standing 19-1/2" tall including the base to the top of her hat. The doll is 15-1/2" tall without the base.

Head turns from side to side while her right bisque arms raises her down feather puff to powder her face, then her left bisque hand raises the mirror and her head tilt down to look at herself in the mirror then raises back up again, then turns to the puff to get more powder.

Music plays the whole time. She still retains her original wig in it's original set. She is dressed in all antique with a shredding underskirt and an excellent over skirt. Parts of the bodice the fabric is worn.

The mechanism plays well and on and on although you do hear a small other mechanical sound at times. It's over 100 years old circa 1885.

The key has the original key with the LB which stands for Leopold Lambert which is who made this beautiful Automaton. Cloth skirt on base is worn from age but sturdy. There is a white label sewn on the back of the skirt, probably was a tag from a museum at one time but the writing on it has faded. You can take it off easily, it was not originally on the skirt.
